Lawsons Angus genetics are the most efficient converters of grass to quality beef, but equally as important they excel in key drivers of commercial profitability – calving ease and fertility. Our competitive advantage is we can do this in large numbers with a great deal of consistency and predictability. Keeping genetic progress simple and cost effective is our business.
Lawsons Angus is Australia’s largest Angus seedstock herd and one of the pioneers in the use of objective measurement and performance recording. Lawsons Angus are the only national Angus genetics supplier with divisions in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.
LA has three divisions:

Annual Production Sale end of March at Bull Unit, Glenburn, Victoria
Private Treaty Sales through-out year
• Toobeah, Goondiwindi, Queensland
Regional auction sales at St George, Emerald and Blackall and private treaty sales
• Western Australia
Custom breeding and private treaty options
Lawsons Angus produce 1,000 performance tested Angus and Senegus bulls over
a wide geographical and production base. and provide simple cost effective breeding options for large or small scale commercial herds through the SIRE-MATE mating system and Lawsons Flexi-bull finance lease for bulls.
